AUDIT SEMI SENIORS
Reporting: The Audit Semi Senior reports to the Audit Senior
Roles
- Working with the audit senior, manager and partner in charge in the preparation of customized risk based audit plan for each audit assignment
- Performing assurance procedures on engagements
- Client interaction, communication internally and externally
- Preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS and other reporting requirements
- Preparation of draft management letters
- Supervising audit assistants, reviewing their work and mentoring them
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (major in accounting), or Commerce.
- CPA (K) or ACCA certification required.
- Experience with Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ audit experience
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Understanding of IFRS and ISAs
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
- Effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to carry research and report writing abilities.
- Commitment to delivering professional, client-focused service.
- Strong analytical and review capabilities.
- Understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and experience in the use of audit software.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under minimum supervision
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Good time management skills
- Ability to travel and work from clients locations in the region
